I'll know I've arrived when one night I take my kids and Carole up for a flight, break through the clouds and enjoy the beautiful moon, stars and silence of near-space in our own plane!
A personal account of flight training, including technical items, memories, significant milestones and expressing the joy of flying.

Dave,
Nice work! You show a greater depth of understanding than your logged time would suggest.
Nothing like jets. I hope your adventure would lead you into the cockpit of one down the road. I would love to have a T-45 as a pet. Adolph Galland got to fly the prototype Messerschmidt 262 jet fighter. When asked what it was like, he replied "It was as if angels were pushing." Amen to that. It's still true today.
Cheers,
Dave
